Celebration of the Israel Independence Day with the Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine (photo)

The main purpose of the event was an expression of biblical position of united Evangelical churches of the city and region, in relation to people and land of Israel - the position of blessings, friendship, support, belief in calling. 

It was not the first time when the Church "Word of Life" in Donetsk conducted the celebration of Israel Independence Day, but the event of this year had a special status.



Honorary guests of the holiday were:



- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Mr. Reuven Din El;


- Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Itzhak Carmel Kagan;


- Speaker, coordinator for cooperation with Ukrainian churches of international interdenominational Christian ministry "Christians for Israel" Dmitry Mishkur.



Also the celebration of the Day of Israel was attended by:



- Bishop of the Free Churches Evangelical Faith Christians Union of Ukraine in Donetsk region O. Zaitsev;


- Head of Spiritual Council "Biblical Church of Ukraine", pastor S. Karpenko;


- Pastor of Messianic Jewish community of Donetsk G. Hlatsovsky;


- Pastor of the Church, "Philadelphia", Donetsk Y. Bolotsky;


- Assistant to senior presbyter of the Association of Evangelical Christians Baptists Churches V. Yurchak.



Creative part of the celebration was performed by the worship team of Donetsk Church "Word of Life", musical group "Keshet" from Estonia, and exemplary creative team "Neposedy."

After a bright and rich musical program pastors of churches shared the word of the Bible about the relation of God and believers to Israel, expressed their support to Israel nation, then the senior bishop of the Ukrainian Christian Evangelical Church, the pastor of the church "Word of Life" Donetsk Leonid Padun urged all present to the prayer of blessing Israel.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Ukraine Mr. Reuven Din El shared the word about the importance of such kind of events and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the holiday.


"What I saw here today is not only important for our country - said the Ambassador. - It is important for every Israeli who the first or not the first time has faced similar. Gratitude that I can express from our country and personally from us does not have borders."


At the end of festive program the national anthem of Israel was performed, followed by a stand-up meal for guests and communication in an informal atmosphere.
